Stand With Crypto: Meet n Greet with Congressman Ed Case

Stand With Crypto Hawaii Chapter advocates met with Congressman Ed Case at his office. We shared with the Congressman about why regulatory clarity is important on both the state and federal level, how it impacts the work we do and economic implications for the state of Hawaii.

A big thank you to my fellow advocates Prof. Jiakai Chen, Shari Motooka-Higa, Andrew Chu, Zac Manafort, Kenny White and Tad Tobar for taking the time to educate and inform. Our advocates ranged from founders, academia/researchers, industry experts utilizing blockchain technology and Web3 industry professionals.

As a technology overhauling traditional infrastructures, blockchain is misunderstood and difficult to comprehend. Crypto as a medium of exchange has negative connotations because of the way it has been utilized. However, the benefits cannot be ignored and education is critical across all levels, from the masses to our government representatives.
