In celebration of Lei Day (May 1st), we are hosting a workshop to commemorate a beloved traditional cultural practice in Hawaii — lei-making.

Through this collaborative event by lei instructor, Arleen Fernando of Haumea Designs and blockchain instructor, Ellen Ng of Inoa, participants will learn:

• How to create their own beautiful lei po'o (or head lei) using the wili style (wrapping flowers and foliage around a base made of ti leaf or braided raffia)

• The parallels between lei making and blockchain technology
