Stand With Crypto at CPN Informational Briefing

On November 12, the Hawai‘i State Senate Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection (CPN) hosted an informational briefing for legislators and the public. I worked closely with Senator Jarrett Keohokalole’s office to plan and organize this briefing.

Presentations were made by:
1. Dwight Young, Commissioner, Division of Financial Institutions (DFI)
2. Local - Blockchain 101 and Hawaii: Michael Ching and Jacy Youn, Aptos Foundation
3. State - California: Hermine Wong, UC Berkeley School of Law

As Hawaii State Chapter President, I also invited members of the local Stand With Crypto community to attend this briefing and meet with legislators in the CPN Committee.
